The duties and responsibilities of an assistant sales manager include

• Serving as a liaison between the company and its customers.
• Assisting in the development of a sales plan for all of the company’s products and services.
• Setting sales targets and achieving or exceeding them.
• Observing and aiding the sales team with sales efforts.
• Developing strategies to improve sales.
